Mt. Rainier

This past week, while Chad was out Hiking Mt. Hood with the boy scouts, the kids and I took to the north. We went to Alaina and Rolands' home on Wednesday night. Thursday we took the kids to the Point Defiance zoo and park in Tacoma, then on Friday Roland had the day off so we all drove to Mt. Ranier National Park and went on a little hike. It was a beautiful day! and Mt. Ranier is gorgeous! The kids had a blast and it was nice that we found a paved trail to push our strollers on. One portion of the trail was covered in snow, but we perservered and made it through.

This picture of Lia Belle on the rock was funny. She stood on the rock for about five minutes, doing what looked like yoga poses. She could have been doing a baby yoga video. The setting was perfectly serene.

We had so much fun with Alaina, Roland and Milo. Lucky us, we get to have Alaina and Milo come stay with us this week while Roland goes to Yakima for some army training for two weeks. Sad for Alaina that Roland has to be gone for so long, but we are so glad we are close enough to get her to come and hang out with us.
