Sunday in Missouri

Our first Sunday in Missouri was a beautiful relaxing day. We went to church with Mom and Dad in the morning and listened to some wonderful uplifting talks. The kids had fun in Primary. After Church we went visiting and sightseeing. Of Course, a trip to Kearney is never complete without visiting Grandma and Grandpa in their back yard.
We also went into Liberty to visit the Historic Liberty Jail. While we were at the Jail the missionary was explaining how Joseph Smith and a few other men were wrongfully incarcerated. She asked how we would feel if our Dad was put in Jail when he was innocent. Phoebe proved she was listening when she came to me and said, "Mommy! Our Daddy didn't do anything wrong! He just goes to work, and that's not wrong!" It was so funny! Chad was relieved that Phoebe thinks he does no wrong.

We also drove by the site of the new Kansas City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We Are so excited for this temple to be built! It won't be finished for a while, but we are so excited for this blessing! What a wonderful Sunday.
