How will you know?

At church a few weeks ago I was teaching a Primary class full of 6 and 7 year olds. One little girl is EXTREMELY interested in my growing belly. Every Sunday she says "OH! WOW! You are going to have a baby!" I don't know if she forgets until she sees me or she is just always surprised how much I grew during the week. Well, this Sunday she said, "Are you having a boy or a girl?"
I told her we were waiting until the baby was born to find out if it was a boy or a girl.
She looked extremely confused. "Well, didn't the doctor tell you if it was a boy or a girl?"
"No, we asked him to not tell us."
"Well, then HOW will you know?"
"When the baby is born we will look at it and we will know." I explained.
"Yes, BUT HOW?"
"Well, boys and girls are different."
"HOW are they different?"

Finally it dawned on me, she didn't know, she only has sisters, that there is an obvious difference that makes boys boys and girls girls. So I did what any good teacher would do, suppressed a laugh and said, " I think you better ask your mom and dad to explain how boys and girls are different."
